Anwendung
Special Descaler
Coffee machines, pod and capsule machines, fully automatic coffee machines: Please observe the manufacturer's instructions before descaling! Mix 50 ml PUREWAVE coffee machine descaler concentrate with about 200 ml of water and pour into the coffee machine's water tank. Turn the machine on and run it as usual. Then flush the machine by running about 2 tank fillings of clean water through it. Repeat the process if necessary.
Cleaning Powder
Fully automatic machines with powder compartment: Add 5-10 g of cleaning powder to the coffee powder compartment, start the brewing process, and turn off the machine after about half a cup of water has passed through for approx. 10 minutes. Then turn it on again and complete the brewing cycle. Repeat the brewing process three times with clear water without cleaning powder. Remove the brewing unit and rinse it thoroughly. Before reuse, run 2 cups of water through the machine.
Fully automatic machines without powder compartment: Remove the brewing unit and rinse it thoroughly with warm water using a sponge or brush. Completely dissolve 5-10 g of cleaning powder in hot water, pour the solution into the water tank, and run the machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Portafilter machines: Add 5-10 g of cleaning powder to the water tank and insert the portafilter with a blind filter into the brewing unit. Activate the brew lever (or switch) for 10 seconds and repeat this process 5 times. Remove the portafilter and clean the brewing unit with a suitable brush. Reinsert the portafilter with the blind filter and rinse it 10 times for 5 seconds each with water. Finally, wash the coffee filter thoroughly and let it dry.
Pod and capsule machines: Completely dissolve 5-10 g of cleaning powder in hot water, pour the solution into the water tank, and run the tank according to the manufacturer's instructions.
